There are a lot of different subjects within the internet marketing field.  This can hinder is understandable for a newbie to get started as a marketer online.  A lot of people in internet marketing assume that everyone understands some of the basic concepts. It is not always the case, especially when it comes to the sales funnel.  Most newbies do not understand what is a sales funnel, and also how it applies to them.

We can reach a large debate that really confuses you, but instead will explain it much more easy to understand terms.  Consider a funnel regularly, as you used to put oil in your car. The funnel has a tight end and a rod.  Pour things in the connecting rod and leave at the narrow end.

How easy to understand, right?  But what is a sales funnel?  As well, imagine that all customers are discharged into the connecting rod. T hese are all people who come to your site and see their products.  Going on the funnel, decide which, if any of its products to buy.  Who end up purchasing their products leave the narrow funnel end, thus completing his funnel.  Those who don’t buy all products leave the sales funnel incomplete.  In short, that is a sales funnel.

For internet marketers, the funnel is an array of products, each of them hoping to sell to potential customers at the top of the funnel.  Essentially, the aim is that customers that go through the funnel and at each stage, buy something.  Products are organized from expensive to more expensive.  The more client gets into the funnel, the more expensive products they buy.

A typical sales funnel starts with a free product. This free product attracts customers to go and buy the next product and next, etc.  A free product may be an eBook, a program, software or internet marketing.  This is something that virtually all potential customers will be getting.

Following the funnel into the free product must be a product that is very cheap.  You can consider a price of 4.99 $-$ 15.99 for them.  This range of product is really responsible for the successive of your funnel.  If your customer ends up buying this product, you can be sure that you get at least give him one or two more sales, if not go through the entire funnel.

Product after the first true paid one only increases in price and quality.  This is building up and customers are conditioning to keep buying the next upstream of product.  If this is sufficiently effective, they will continue to complete the sales funnel. Completing the sales funnel is your goal.

First we want to start by making mention of the known phrase “people do not care how much you know until they first know how much you care”. This is so true. If you start a conversation about what you have to sell or your service as your initial pitch, you are in trouble. The first thing you have to learn is to be a good listener, to hear what type of need that the potential prospect has. Also to see if you can address a serious need that they have. You have to have a genuine concern and believe me the potential customer will feel your vibes and if you respect there pain or just waiting for a chance to throw up on them. Not literally but with your sales pitch.

 This quality in itself is so lacking and this is sad news,it is important to master this skill. Our instincts within us wants us to always voice our opinion without thought and our potential customer will fill the non concern on our behalf. If you have ever been told that you do not listen, as a man it most likely came from a woman, you be reminded that this blunt criticism needs to be taken to the heart.Your customers may also be saying this within themselves. Most men have a need to fix attitude and wants to be the one who always solves problems with little listening.For men,unfortunately, this is where our competitive instincts shoot us in the foot.Because when it comes to selling, nobody wants to hear you tell them what they need, until you have first listened to them.

  Maybe you have heard the saying that”buyers are liars” well, the real reasons they respond the way they do is they have never went to buyers school. They do not know what to ask and they are always on the defense as most are afraid of getting ripped off especially if they have ever experienced a bad deal before. So they ask us to tell them about our product and we in return think they really want to hear our answer.The more we talk the more we lose ground. The only person that the customer really would like to talk about is himself. Keep this in mind and avoid telling and selling. There was a study made by a telephone company once to find out which words where most frequently used.  The results was that the personal pronoun I was used 3,900 times in 500 telephones conversations. When you see a group photograph that you are in, whose picture do you look for first? There was a quote made by  Alfred Adler as he states,” It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others. It is from such individuals that all humans failures spring.

 The customer has a idea that you are selling something and they will buy in their own time. Meanwhile you will not be heard as to being serious about their needs or to have a solutions to their problems until first you have done some serious listening yourself.People do not buy based on price, unless you fail to offer anything else. They want even buy based on features and will not for anything admit this, especially if something more powerful is available. If you had a product at the same price and offered some similar results that your non listening competitor does , you would win every time. Buyers not only want a good product or feature, or even a great benefit. What they really want is to feel great about having made a purchase with someone that really showed genuine hospitality and concern with you as the most important party in the transaction. The best way to sell is to care. People judge caring by how well they feel listened to. So keep in mind that solving a problem or addressing a need or concern without really listening will result in less sells.

As I have pursued Network Marketing, I have come to realize that it is one of the most powerful business models that there is when it comes to making residual income. Never-the-less there are many prospects that when  Network Marketing is mentioned they run. The main reason that this has become a problem is because of the Sales Industry .

 Most people try to use old school techniques and the statistic has been proved that 92% of people are anti-sales. A Network Marketing business is operated by marketing a product or service to a target market that is initially looking for that product or service. Where most mlm companies fail is they use replicated sites that are not search engine optimised and they will also instruct a new recruit to make a list of all there friends and family in which is not considered a target  market in most cases.  

Another key is lack of mlm training. This produces rookies trying to sell instead of  developing a sincere concern to help solve a problem or address a need. The best mlm system has mentoring and relationship as the main drive to build a huge and successful industry. This allows not only a select few of their distributors to make money, but all who will  learn how to use the tools and strategies that is provided. So most people don’t become successful by just joining a good company that has a great product or service.

 This usually accompany frustation because it seems so hard to build a business with the techniques of their uplines. Then there is the buying mlm leads in which the cost will eventually ware you out with credit card debt.
